The Devil's Nest: Saturday, August 27th
Between waking up at an hour more appropriate for dinner (Bo was still trying to figure out how her alarm got shut off; she suspected gremlin involvement, but couldn't prove it) and cutting out early to open up the bar, Bo hadn't exactly been a social butterfly at the picnic this time.
Oh well; she'd meet the new students sooner or later, and given the current students, she expected to be meeting the new teachers aaaaaaany minute now, probably while mixing them a double of something really strong.
Time for signage, in fact:
Tonight only: doubles for the price of a single, for all Fandom High Staff.
[OCD up, post open! Method-RP? Why nooooo, why d'you ask? *eyes bed I was in until 5:30*]

The Bar [8/27]
Re: The Bar [8/27]
Why did Peter want him to be a teacher again?
"Let me take you up on that sign," he requested, waving a hand. "Balvenie on the rocks?"
Re: The Bar [8/27]
"Hey, Mr. Caffrey. How's it going?" Kenzi looked amused to see him drinking.
Re: The Bar [8/27] -- chronologically after Bo thread, please!
Which was a compliment! In a way.
"Well, it's not storming outside," he said, in the tone of one outlining a giant plus. "On the other hand, it looks like the new kids are just as teenagery as the current ones. Which is a shame."
Big grin to show he was joking. Okay, fine, Kenzi improved his mood. A lot.

"Sure, sure, waste my research into giant mixed drinks by ordering straight scotch," Bo groused, but with a smile, as she made for the bottle in question.
Re: The Bar [8/27]
"Oh, yeah?" Neal asked, grinning slightly. "Any reccomendations you had in mind? I can always stick around for another."

"But after the first, he said it didn't matter how strong the booze was, it was still a girly drink, and he'd have a beer chaser, thanks."

"Two of the strongest thing you have for a new teacher," he requested. "This has been a day."
He noticed with some small pleasure that the serving wench was more than averagely attractive. Well, at least he'd have pleasant scenery to enjoy while he drank.
Re: The Bar [8/27]
"I think technically the strongest thing we have is Everclear, but I'm not sure if you want two of those," Bo answered, looking over her shoulder to eye the bottle. "That stuff could strip the leather off your boots." She had the feeling paint off your car wouldn't work here, unless the clothes were a Renfaire kind of thing.
Re: The Bar [8/27]
Privately, he suspected it wouldn't do much -- he'd built up a fearsome tolerance -- but he was prepared to be pleasantly surprised.
"They let pink ponies teach here, did you know that?"

Re: The Bar [8/27]
He paused for breath, realizing he sounded a bit stroppish, and smiled. "My name is Tyrion Lannister, by the way. I'll likely be here a lot."
