J,GoB, Wednesday Afternoon
Since she didn't have any more classes before Friday (and didn't feel like spending all her time on the ones she was taking independently), Natalie was exploring the town today. So far, it seemed... cute. Interesting in a kind of a quaint small town way. Because it was small, for what she was used to.
It was no Montreal, and Natalie wondered how long it would be before she'd start feeling like it was too small for her.
But, that was for the future. Right now, she was still enjoying it, and just barely starting to discover the places she might like. She stopped by the bakery, then came back out again to seat herself by one of the tables out front, with her coffee and a few cupcakes. Seemed like a good place to quietly peoplewatch.
[ooc: Open like an open place in town tends to be.]

Despite that, he still had one of the books she'd recommended in the bag over his shoulder and he still decided to stop and say hello since he wasn't a rude guy. Sarcastic and lazy, yes, but rude, no.
"Made it out of the dorms already?" Sam asked, stopping near her table. "Congratulations, it took me a whole month to do that. Pep talks were necessary."

"I'm very efficient," she replied, resting her elbow on the table and her chin in her hand. "And don't usually need pep talks."

He was curious if they differed from his.

Demure was a trickier concept. Or she'd claim it was.

Sam shrugged and wandered a little closer to her table. "I took the zombie class last semester." He figured it'd be helpful for his future endeavors. "There's a zombie band at the local bar."

It was almost a genuinely interested question. Natalie happened to like music.

And that was something Ramon teased him about incessantly. If it wasn't insults about being old, it was jokes about...being old. Ramon wasn't always creative.

Maybe he just hadn't heard the right electronic music.

"And talking means making noise with your mouth but if I don't form words, is that still talking?" he asked, going for a similar analogy. "I'll admit, I don't really listen to electronic music but I've never really felt the attraction to it. I don't really do clubs and that's where electronic music seems to reign supreme."
