The Park, Friday Evening, iCarly Broadcast!

Even though the seasons were changing, Freddie set up the iCarly equipment in the park so they could record their parts of the weekly iCarly webcast. Mostly so he would have multiple exit strategies in case Sam tried to kill him.

"Hey, you never replied to my e-mail," Carly said via Freddie's laptop video feed from Seattle.

"There was nothing to say..." Freddie said, evasively.

"Well how about I refuse to do the show until you talk about it?" Carly tried to argue.

"Yeah, like you'd really do that?" Freddie said, skeptically.

There was a moment of awkward pause. "...oh fine," Carly caved. "But I will figure out a way to get one of you to talk about this!"

Freddie let out a quiet whimper and finished the tech set-up.

We did not have a chance to e-mail any of our potential guests, so... free-for-all! Any and all people are welcome to show up and join in the fun!

Sam had actually managed to forget that she'd clearly lost her mind since last weekend, what with the pleasant distraction of essentially extorting a weekly pizza supply out of the fraternity guy. When it came time to meet up with Freddie for iCarly, however, it all came rushing back, and she was tempted to run off and live wild on the preserve with the teal deer.

But that would be, like, work. So here she was, stalking up to the clearing in the park and not making eye contact.

Freddie was likewise acting all awkward and not saying much.

Which just led to an exasperated "Uuuuuuuugh!" from the Seattle feed, courtesy of Carly Shay.

Sam shot a glance at said Seattle feed and waved. Awkwardly.

"Heeeeeeeeeeeeey Carly."

Yeah, she hadn't responded to any of Carly's texts or emails this week. She was a terrible, terrible friend.

And she still totally wasn't looking at Freddie.

"Heeeeeey yourself," Carly replied, not looking too happy. "Clearly there is something going on. And you two need to talk about it. Don't make me come down there and... lock you two in a closet."

Sam narrowed her eyes. "You wouldn't."

Oh Sam. Never call Carly's bluff.

She shot a glance at Freddie. ". . . 'Snothin' goin' on."

"Exactly," Freddie stressed. "There is nothing going on. There is no reason to try and make Sam hurt me. So... please can we move on?"

"Dude, why do you always think I'm going to hurt you?!"

Yeah, even Sam was pretty sure that was a really stupid question.

"Because you kinda always do," Freddie said, saying it with just a tinge of 'Are you really asking that?' in his voice. "Even when there isn't a reason for it."

"Yeah, well, maybe you kinda always ask for it!"

"Wait," Carly said on the screen. "Is this where you guys finally kill each other, or is this one of those 'arguments leading up to a kiss' things?"

"I'm not gonna kill anybody," Freddie said, kind of exasperated.

He also wasn't going to go and try and kiss Sam because he was still a little scared.

"I'm not going to kiss Freddie!" Sam protested, at almost the same time, then groaned and facepalmed. "Can we just do the show?"

She didn't need any more reminders that she was losing her mind, really.

"I am all for that," Freddie said. "And... thank you for not hurting me."

No one said he couldn't be civil about all this.

Nearby, the ducks were just sort of staring at this all. And possibly plotting.

"Oh, so now you're too good to kiss me?"

Poor Freddie. This was not a conversation he could win.

"I meant doing the show!" Freddie said. "I didn't say anything about kissing anyone."

Freddie was used to not winning conversations, admittedly.

"Fine then!" Sam said, only to be cut off by Carly.

"No! You two kissed! We are not not talking about the kissing that you two did! I saw it! I saw the kissing! We are talking about the kissing! Between the two of you!"

In the background of the feed, Gibby raised a hand. "Do I get a say in this?"

"Sit down, Gibby!"
