The Park, Friday Evening, iCarly Broadcast!

Even though the seasons were changing, Freddie set up the iCarly equipment in the park so they could record their parts of the weekly iCarly webcast. Mostly so he would have multiple exit strategies in case Sam tried to kill him.

"Hey, you never replied to my e-mail," Carly said via Freddie's laptop video feed from Seattle.

"There was nothing to say..." Freddie said, evasively.

"Well how about I refuse to do the show until you talk about it?" Carly tried to argue.

"Yeah, like you'd really do that?" Freddie said, skeptically.

There was a moment of awkward pause. "...oh fine," Carly caved. "But I will figure out a way to get one of you to talk about this!"

Freddie let out a quiet whimper and finished the tech set-up.

Sam had actually managed to forget that she'd clearly lost her mind since last weekend, what with the pleasant distraction of essentially extorting a weekly pizza supply out of the fraternity guy. When it came time to meet up with Freddie for iCarly, however, it all came rushing back, and she was tempted to run off and live wild on the preserve with the teal deer.

But that would be, like, work. So here she was, stalking up to the clearing in the park and not making eye contact.

Freddie was likewise acting all awkward and not saying much.

Which just led to an exasperated "Uuuuuuuugh!" from the Seattle feed, courtesy of Carly Shay.

Sam shot a glance at said Seattle feed and waved. Awkwardly.

"Heeeeeeeeeeeeey Carly."

Yeah, she hadn't responded to any of Carly's texts or emails this week. She was a terrible, terrible friend.

And she still totally wasn't looking at Freddie.

"Heeeeeey yourself," Carly replied, not looking too happy. "Clearly there is something going on. And you two need to talk about it. Don't make me come down there and... lock you two in a closet."

Oh Sam. Never call Carly's bluff.

She shot a glance at Freddie. ". . . 'Snothin' goin' on."

"Exactly," Freddie stressed. "There is nothing going on. There is no reason to try and make Sam hurt me. So... please can we move on?"

"-- Over-dramatic cohosts and technical producers --"

"-- here today for one night only . . . a rock and a hard place!" Sam threw her arms in the air and waved them around as she hit the applause button on her remote and the shot cut to a close up of . . . a rock. Then cut to a brick wall. Then back to the rock. Then back to the brick wall. Snap to the rock -- oh! But cut off by another cut to the brick wall! Things were really heating up here in total silence! And then a nice long shot of the rock, and a long shot of the brick wall -- and then the rock smashing into the brick wall with a heavy thud and falling to the floor.

Cut back to the split screen of Sam and Carly. "Well, what do you know?" said Sam. "The big rock doesn't always win."
