The Gig, Saturday
It was bad enough that Dani had been a dog for the past couple of weeks. She hadn't been able to enjoy being in her own body again for very long. Today, she'd woken up to find that she was a guy. Given the circumstances, Dani would have stayed home and sulked. But she had business to take care of and horses to check on.
So Dani reluctantly headed into The Gig, where the horses reacted as if she was a stranger. They refused to listen to her commands, shied away from her, and Bold even nipped her when she tried to comb his mane. "Fine then," said Dani, putting away the grooming tools. "I'll just be over here waiting for this nightmare to end."
The Gig was open. Dani wasn't in the mood to talk, but she wouldn't object to paying customers.
