Today, the Fraternity was given instructions to meet at Fast Eddie's, and to bring their bowling shoes, if they just so happened to own their own. If not, no worries. Your esteemed leaders had not only rented the hall, but they'd also paid for rental of those scummy, funny-looking ones that they had available for the general public.

Gross.

“Hey, guys," Warren greeted, already wearing his own pair (in blue and white, and looking fairly dapper in them, thank you). "We're working up to seeing what we can do with the things that you guys said you'd do as a group last week, but in the meantime, we're going to try to keep our meetings interesting without... uh... doing anything too massive."

Like building satellites to get free movies that would have been cheaper to rent than the satellite was to build, Ben.

“Plus, who doesn’t like bowling?” Tony added. Yes, he also had his own pair of shoes. They were red and gold. Because someone wasn’t obvious or anything. “We’ll be looking into a joint venture with the Sorority and Pride, so if anyone has any ideas for them, just let us know.”

"And if you don't, enjoy the bowling, keep the pizza away from the lanes," because it was mandatory for these things, thanks, and Warren wasn't about to have a meeting without it, "and have a good time, guys."

I almost slipped in the shower this morning. It's not my day.

Tony was there, of course. And texting Rhodey what he was missing by not going to school here.

He might start taking pictures any minute now to illustrate it.

Topher was here. And scrutinizing a pair of bowling shoes to determine if they were likely to aggravate his ankle.

They probably would, but he put them on anyway.

Shift. Awwwwwwkward shift.

"Do you think these are safe?" Topher asked, holding up his chosen pair of shoes.

Jack was here. Fearlessly putting on a pair of rental shoes. Or putting on rental shoes in blissful ignorance.

Probably the latter as he looked pretty excited to go bowling.

Oh, Yeah. Jack was so into the bowling.

Until his first frame and got a seven-ten split.

"Oh that sucks!"

Me? Stuck on a tarmac for almost an hour waiting for my already late flight to refuel so when can land at another airport.

Not my day either.

Oh, boy, bowling! Butters figured that's what they'd be doing when he got the notice of where the meeting would be held, so he came plenty prepared. Not only did he have his own shoes (who knew what sort of super disease you could pick up from rental shoes?), he had himself a great little bowling shirt with his name on it, since his family played league sometimes, and even his own bowling ball that he got for Christmas one year.

"Oh, boy!" he said, pulling on his fingerless bowling gloves. "I sure hope you're all ready to roll; I know I am!"

Bod had missed last week's meeting due to being wrapped up in his own problems but he was there today. He arrived a little early, bottle of orange juice in hand.

He'd bowled before but he was still a rather spectacular failure about it.

Bod had rented himself a pair of shoes, had found a ball that seemed to fit and was now attempting to bowl. His first shot...went right into the gutter. His second? Right into one pin.

Well, he'd had fun about it so maybe that was all he needed. Still, he hoped to at least break into double digits.

Tyrion snacked on some pizza and contemplated the "game." He didn't quite see the point of it, but by the end of the meeting he'd likely give it a try anyhow.

The shoes, though, were just plain horrible.

For all of his bowling gear and seeming preparation, it wasn't going to take long for people to realize that Butters really wasn't that great of a bowler. He tended to prefer the classic through-the-legs push technique, and the ball ended up in the gutter more often than not.

But he didn't seem to care much. Each pin was a great celebration, and every gutter ball was commented on how that one got at least a little bit further down the lane than the last.

So maybe her talk with Petra yesterday had swayed Rosella from pulling this off at class today, but she wasn't about to throw a completely brilliant idea like this completely. She figured out where the Fraternity was meeting today and, though she was in her own body today, she had a cunning little mustache and beard...the same one she'd worn at the club fair.

"Oh, thank the heavens you're here, Tony!" she said, proving once again that her acting wasn't very good unless it was a situation where death was on the line. "I am in the most distressing conundrum! It appears as though I have only partially changed back from the weekend! I simply cannot be in the Sorority like this! So I have decided the Fraternity is a much better place for me, should I never return to my natural state again."

So Bobby had not, strictly speaking, actually signed up for the frat.

He was of the opinion, however, that one did not need to sign up to engage in activities such as "bug Warren and Tony". Which is why he was here, availing himself of some of the pizza. With a nod of greeting in Tony's direction because talking with one's mouth full was rude, obviously.

...super awkward.

Tony glanced up for a moment before putting the phone down. Rhodey was so grateful for you now, Topher. "Safe for what exactly?"

"I really hope that's not Sharpie," Tony replied, shaking his head.

Warren? Was going to get around to actually bowling the ball down one of the lanes, sooner or later. And it would be good! And he'd probably manage to not even break anything!

But for now? Pizza. There had been cooking in Cultural Understanding today, and he was in that class with Karla, and all the pizza in the world couldn't drown his woe.

Topher shifted slightly, then mumbled almost incomprehensibly, "Igotatattoo."

On his ankle.

Ben associated bowling with making out (thank you for that, Tahiri) so he looked a little embarrassed by the looks some of the staff were aiming at him as he laced himself into a pair of ugly rental shoes.

Tony facepalmed, taking a deep breath. "What of?"

If it was his name, he'd have to kill someone.
