The Causeway: Saturday Morning

It probably wasn't unusual to see three people appear on the causeway.

However for these three travelers it was very unusual indeed.

[For the visitors for Columbus however open Causeway is Open.]

Tallahassee gripped his gun tightly as he slowly turned around scanning the area. This was definitely not where they were a few seconds ago.

"Where in the Sam Hill are we?"

The girl next to him, who couldn't be more than twelve or fourteen, just rolled her eyes.

"And when did you suddenly turn into Yosemite Sam?" Little Rock asked sarcastically.

"I know I saw him come this way," Wichita said also scanning the area carefully. "It was only five minutes ago. He couldn't have gotten far."

"I think we should go back," Tallahassee said with his shake of his head. "There's a huge pile of Twinkies and ammo right across the bridge and-"

"We're not leaving him behind," Little Rock said in a scolding tone. "He wouldn't leave you behind. How could you even think that?"

Wichita had wandered closer to the edge of the bridge, looking out on to the island.

"Guys?" she said softly. "Look. This isn't Zombieland anymore."

Indeed. There were NPC townspeople moving about as if they didn't have a care in the world.

"I think we're in the zombie free zone."
