Vincent had the diner decorated up with loads of gourds and fall leaves. They were roped into garlands along the molding, lining the display cases in little circles, and crunching under foot.
What? The man liked a good theme.
Today's specials
Butternut squash ravioli
Apple stuffed acorn squash
Pumpkin muffins
Someone was in a squashy mood, today.

And because this is Lojack, he had a more sophisticated palate than JAck.
"Yep. He just showed up in the park the other day when I was jogging," Jack replied. "And he's been hanging here ever since. Can't figure out why he's here but he's not talking.
Lojack gave out a small whine. When was he going to get food?
Re: Talk to Vincent
Muffins were simple! He couldn't turn down a good pumpkin muffin, could he?
Re: Talk to Vincent
Jack however paused a second before shrugging. "There's nothing funky in the pumpkin muffins, is there?" he asked cautiously.
Re: Talk to Vincent
"Just pumpkin and some spices," he explained to Jack. A beat. "You'll like the spices." They were pretty typical spices, really, just cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger. "And I can put a smidge of cream cheese icing on top, if you like."
Pleasepleaseplease, Jack, he's so hopeful.

"So this place has changed," he said, without preamble, when he wandered in. "At least, at some point in the last, like, two and a half years, which I guess means it may have been a while."

"I'm Troy, by the way. Used to go to school here. I'm taking over the Boards."

Living with Ryan for three years had definitely helped to expand Troy's palette, yes.

"Oh, my God," he said, after swallowing. "Marry me?"
Re: Talk to Vincent
"I'd say we should probably get to know each other better first," he said with a small smile. "But keep up that kind of appetite, and you've got a very good shot!"
Re: Talk to Vincent
A few of the root vegetables, and Troy was adding, "So, I'm thinking maybe I should do a dinner theatre event? Because if you can cater for it, then I think it would go over really well."
