Quinn was grumpy when she got to work today. She'd tried to check in with Jacob ben Israel's blog to see what was going on with Lima -- okay, so occasionally she was a masochist -- and apparently it had been taken down, and Brittany didn't remember Jacob so there went a wasted phone call. (It was Brittany. Sometimes she forgot the existence of shoes, so losing track of a classmate or two should be expected.)
Quinn set her concern aside as she got to work. It was nice to have lobby Halloween decorations to concentrate on, even if it did remind her that she needed to talk to Claudia about the door-decorating contest. She set to work arranging gourds artistically along the check-in desk.
