Mary was exhausted by the time she reached the front desk. She had pitched in to help the housekeeping staff move all the mattresses that were blocking access to the fifth floor. But once they finally cleared a path, they ran into another issue. None of the doors on the fifth floor would open, even when Mary used the hotel's master key.

So now Mary was calling around to find a locksmith, preferably one that didn't mind working with temperamental doors with a mind of their own.
