The Devil's Nest- Sunday
Susan had been mentally preparing herself for this job for nearly a week now. She'd taken it because honestly, the thought of working with and meeting other supernatural types had been sort of irresistible. In fact, she was not only clinging to the idea of there being someone else maybe like her out there, but she was calling the idea at all hours of the night and driving past its house to see it was home, even after the restraining order was issued.
And then on her first day, instead Susan had had to mentally reprepare herself, this time for the possibility of children. Luckily she rather liked children, even if it wasn't exactly what she might have thought for her first day of work. She knew as soon as she came in that she would be dividing her attention between the door, and making sure no one made a total mess of the bar, Bo.
The Devil's Nest was open, and sorry, adults, you'd still be getting juice and milkshakes tonight.

"Five," he said. "My father is Ted Montague. He'll say I can come in if you call him."

She was wearing black and seemed strict. It made sense to him.

stealeat some pizza (http://fandomtownies.livejournal.com/6142154.html?thread=236296138#t236296138) earlier, but now she was drawn to the building that seemed vaguely like a Red Moon House. There was music, after all, and it was open after dark. She stuck her head inside the door, looking around to see if she could spot Titian. She'd tried finding her mother on psychic threads, but Surreal wasn't much good at it, since unlike Titian, she lacked a jewel and any sort of formal training.

Re: The Door
If she managed to feed herself again (and managed to run out without paying), not stab anyone, or have to deal with annoying boys, Surreal was going to count today as a win.
Re: The Door
She really would go through this for every child who came in here.

He thought she was pretty because he was a Romeo and a Montague, and incorrigible from a young age. And somewhere, an adult Yurika was pulling her hair out looking for him."'S dirty," she stated, turning her attention to Tiny to glare. "Ale!"
Tiny set down a chocolate and banana shake instead.
Re: The Bar
No. He thought she was pretty because she was pretty.
And because he was Romeo, and a Montague.
And probably rather enjoying evading that blonde woman.
"You got a milkshake instead anyhow," he observed. "I was right."
Re: The Bar
She whipped her little self-defense knife out of her boot and slammed it into the bar point-first. "Ale and stew!" she yelled, and Tiny was going to get the scary small child some food right now, although it might not be what she asked for. "Harpies feast on your bones for a thousand years!"
Re: The Bar
Then he started to laugh.
"That was incredible!" he said. "I bet he got so scared he peed on himself."
Again: Montague. Extreme displays were not exactly foreign to his world.
The Dance Floor
Don't mind Susan as she questioned whoever let the children sing some of those lyrics.
Re: The Dance Floor
He gave the ropes a passing glare, just to keep them in line.
