The Park, Friday night -- iCarly broadcast!

Nothing could stop the weekly iCarly broadcast. Not rain, nor snow, nor sleet, nor heatwave. Not even having a giant argument with your best friend. Certainly not entire chunks of the multiverse vanishing. As long as there was a Carly, a Freddie, and a Sam, there would be an iCarly.

"T-Bo?" Sam tried. She'd been at this for ages already.

"Okay, now you're just stringing random syllables together!" said Carly.

"But who runs the Groovy Smoothie?"

"What's a Groovy Smoothie?"

"Good gracious, woman!" Sam grabbed the sides of the feed laptop and shook it. "Not the Groovy Smoothie!"

[ooc: OCD for this very special broadcast of iCarly is up!]

The familiar little glimpse of the Seattle skyline you could see through the loft window in the iCarly studio... well, there was Nothing to be seen through that window, now.

"Okay guys, what, is there a spider or something?" Carly said, a little nervous that her friends were acting weird.

Freddie reflexively reached to grab Sam's hand. "Carly, trust me, just... get out of there. Get somewhere, anywhere, just out of the studio, okay?"

"This string?" Carly said, a convenient string now in the shot with her.

She pulled it, and two gallons of blue drink came pouring down on her head.

"That's it! No money for your Moah! And I don't want your mucks or your lucks!"

"Yakima, perfect," Freddie said. "All the way to Yakima and you can give us a call from there."

"Guys?" Carly said, sounding a little scared not because she knew what was happening, but again because Sam and Freddie were acting like something bad was happening. "I don't even know what a Yakima--"

The feed went to static.

"Oh no," Freddie said, scrambling for his PearPhone.

Carly pulled off her mask and had grabbed a towel. "Just don't throw change at your computer screen. You might break it, and then you couldn't keep watching the show. And that would be bad."

"Look, I'm trying to call her," Freddie said. "Because look."

He pointed at the number that normally indicated how many people were watching the web stream.

It was at zero.

"It won't connect," Freddie said, and then another realization dawned on him. "Oh no, I think..."

He punched the buttons to call his mom. It also didn't connect.

"Everybody," he said, staring down at his phone. He couldn't believe it, even if he'd started to cry.

"But... these are cellphones," Freddie said. "They don't actually use lines like old phones. Unless something big just knocked out all the electronics."

He was still crying, even though he was trying to believe it hadn't happened.

"Yeah, that's it," Freddie said. "Just... wait for that to happen. And we'll all be able to laugh this off like its just something silly."

"Yeah, we'll all just..."

In normal circumstances, Freddie wouldn't possibly tempt fate and pain. But right then, he went to try and hug Sam. Because he desperately needed a hug right then.

"Yeah, I know," Freddie said, just grateful that Sam was there with him. It didn't make things better, but... it helped make them not a lot worse.
