Where Susan was even in a good mood. Or whatever passed for a good mood with her.

Decent mood, let's go with that.

And tired. Decent and tired.

Jaina was here pretty much just to check that one person was here, and then she grumbled a little when she saw who was at the door. And pulled her ID from her pocket, holding it up without a word.

Susan was just glad she'd gotten the ID held out, and let her pass, also without a word.

It was almost like another little victory, in a way.

Hercules arrived, bandage on his head, sword and shield on his back, and a smile on his face.

"I am not entirely certain which of my pouches has my ID. I don't suppose we could waive that requirement once?" he said.

"That depends. Do you intend to drink anything alcoholic?" Susan asked.

"...I do," Hercules said, putting on a little bit of a pout. "I'm going to have to dig it out, aren't I?"

"Yes, you are," she said. "Those are the rules."

"No 'hey, we just saved the world, maybe it's okay for everyone to get a drink' rule?" Hercules mused, opening up his various belt pouches.

Suddenly they didn't seem so useful. He definitely didn't need a ball of twine and some MREs right now. He'd have to try another pouch.

Cindy, being who and what she was, had stopped back at her apartment to change and shower before coming out to the bar to celebrate. It was a good thing, too. She hadn't had her ID on her before, but she had had plenty of guns and being told she couldn't drink without the former might have led to some unpleasantness with the latter.

Or, well, so she'd tell Bigby later. Because it made for a better story that way.

As it was, grabbing her ID had been more of a habit that a calculated move, and she didn't stop to pull it out as she walked towards the door. THERE WERE HALF-OFF DRINKS. OF COURSE SHE WAS DISTRACTED.

Luckily Susan was good at undistracting people!

"ID please," she said.

Cindy raised an eyebrow. "I teach at the school," she said. "And believe me, I'm well over twenty-one."

By a few hundred years, in fact.

"And I work here, and my job is to check that," she stated. "Most people would be flattered."

Hercules didn't waste time. "I want mead. An entire barrel, if you have it. I plan to toast our victory until you kick me out the door."

"Still willing to share?" Cindy asked, finishing the first of her jack and cokes.

"Ah, Miss Perrault," Hercules said, smiling. "You are more than welcome to share in my libations. It would be a shame for me to celebrate alone, after all."

"Then I'm glad I reappeared in time to spare you from that fate!" Cindy said with a laugh. "Mead? Not wine? I guess you have changed with the times."

"I'll have a jack and coke," Cindy said with a pleased smile. "You know what? Make it two."

She could be classy tomorrow, okay?

Uhh, the DJ still not here tonight, apparently. Oops.

Whether the owner is in or not, at least he exists again!

Since the island returned, Jaina had showered, changed into clothes that didn't have the occasional pitchfork holes in them or whatever, made a call, assured herself that she could feel Ben again and she'd catch up with him, called home to give updates, and now she was here.

And looking really relieved. Incoming hug, Eric!

"Ooof," Eric said, mostly for theatrics since he didn't have breath to knock out of him. "Hello to you too."

"Your schedule sucks," she told him. "Oh. Hi."
