Audrey was not a fan of Christmas. Growing up the way she had, it was just a big reminder that other kids had a family and she didn't, and that it was just. her. She'd been hoping with the Auditors that people would be more concerned about the world nearly ending to worry about the holiday.
No such luck.
She was trying to write up a (completely false) report on what had been happening here to submit to her boss and to explain some of the calls she'd made when people started disappearing, but concentration was not happening with the Christmas music coming from... somewhere.
"Okay," she finally snapped, "if you're going to insist on the Christmas music can you change it to anything but the dogs barking Jingle Bells on repeat?"
No such luck.
