The Park, Friday Evening, iCarly Broadcast!

It may have been cold out, but that just meant Freddie didn't have to worry about his CPU overheating. Having everything set up, he warmed his hands by rubbing them together.

"You seriously are going to be in Yakima next week?" Freddie said to Carly via the webfeed to Seattle.

"I have to, sorry," Carly said, not looking too happy about it. "Maybe Sam can... make a new cohost."

Freddie frowned slightly.

"Maybe I can make a what?" Sam asked as she arrived. "Does it involve work?"

"I don't know, I've never made a co-host," Carly said.

"You know, I could always co-host," Freddie ventured, expecting to be laughed at.

Sam tried. She really did. She made it through at least two seconds of muffled snickering before laughing out loud.

"Sure, honey. Or I could always fill a trash bag with yogurt and draw a face on it."

"I like that idea," Carly said.

"You mean me co-hosting, right?" Freddie said, sounding a little miffed.

Carly didn't reply.

"Right?"

"We could call him 'Baggles'," Sam suggested.

And, no, she wasn't talking about Freddie.

"Besides, if you co-host, who will we get to run the camera?"

"I'll find someone," Freddie said. "There's tons of techy kids at the school. Topher or Tony or somebody has to be willing."

"And I'd be way better than a sack full of yogurt," he added for emphasis.

"Sure you would," Carly said, a tad bit patronizing.

"We'll just keep Baggles on stand by," Sam decided. "Just in case."

"Good plan," Carly said.

Freddie just pouted.

"I can be creative. Just you see," he said.

Aww, look at that pout.

"Of course you can be creative," Sam said. "Just with your . . . nubby techie chiz."

"I can do way more than techie stuff," Freddie stressed. "I can also build model trains and manage my fantasy baseball team. So... there."

"Okay, fine, you'll co-host. Geez. I thought you liked doing the technie nub stuff."

"I do," Freddie said. "Just, you know, I don't want that to be all I'm known for. I don't exactly get lots of comments on the show about how good the tech stuff is."

"Aw." Sam moved to throw an arm over his shoulder. "You want me to go beat them up for you?"

Yes, she was totally talking about beating up the entire iCarly audience.

Jack really should learn that the only safe place to be on a Friday night is in his room.

And that he shouldn't take short cuts through the park when trying to get back to the dorms after making a stop to get junk food.

"Really?" Jack asked as he walked in. "Why aren't you in the dorms or someplace else?"

"Well hey there, Jack," Freddie said, spinning the camera over to get a good shot of their repeat hapless ~~victim~~ guest. "Are you ready to play another great game here on iCarly?"

They had ideas. Oh yes, they did.

"Oh. Sure. Yay," Jack deadpanned. "What form of torture is it today?"

"We like to call this one... Pledge Allegiance to Gibby's Underwear!"

There was even a little canned applause that played after Freddie announced it.

Jack didn't say anything.

Freddie should just focus in on the look of horror on Jack's face. That should say it all.

"We even have a pair right here for you to salute," Sam said, pulling out a stick with a bright, fresh, clean pair of tighty-whiteys tied to the end of it. "I really don't know why, but there it is."

"Hey," said Gibby on the Seattle feed. "I was wondering where those went!"

Jack shuddered in horror.

"Dear God," he muttered. "You people are meeeeeean."

"Hey, those are perfectly good underpants," Gibby stated from Seattle. "But, well, I guess it's time for the pledge."

Gibby straightened up and put his hand over his heart.

"Repeat after me. I pledge allegiance, to the briefs, of the only Gibby Cornelius Gibson," he started.

Jack was still staring at the underwear.

"I only see tighty-whities." he said in response.

"Repeat after Gibby!" Freddie prompted. "Or else Sam has way worst plans for how this bit goes."

And that was a pretty ominous threat, really.

And Jack snapped out of it pretty quickly.

"What do I say?! What do I say?!"

"I pledge allegiance, to the briefs, of the only Gibby Cornelius Gibson," Gibby repeated. "And to the republic, for which they stand, one nation, under Gibby, with liberty and shirtlessness for all."

"...I do that less often now, though."

"I pledge allegiance, to the briefs, of the only Gibby Cornelius Gibson. And to the republic, for which they stand, one nation, under Gibby, with liberty and shirtlessness for all."

Jack said it so fast his lips were almost a blur.

When it was done, a worried expression crossed his face.

"I don't need to take my shirt of now, do I?"

"Nope," Sam, who'd been suspiciously quiet until now, said. "Just hold still."

And she whipped a giant spoonful of oatmeal at the side of Jack's head.

Jack... just stood there and stared at the camera.

"I hate this show."

Sam stepped up next to him, looking sympathetic, and offered the underpants on a stick.

"We don't have any towels," she explained.

Jack glared at Sam.

He then took the gooey oatmeal on his face and flung it back at Sam.

Yes. He was taking his life in his own hands.

Sam wiped the oatmeal off her face with her sleeve.

Then licked her sleeve.

Then let out a vicious bellow and leaped to tackle Jack.

And that would be Jack falling to the ground after being tackled by Sam.

"You're the one who threw it at me!" Jack yelped.

"And that surprised you?"

Really now.

"You started it!"

Because that's the mature thing to say.

"Well duh." Again, how had this surprised Jack, exactly?

Woe, out of time.

"And we're clear!" Freddie declared, letting everyone know the live feed to the internet was done.

Jack hasn't done anything today and seems to miffed.
