Hideously Late Wednesday Night/Early Thursday Morning
In the woods on an island floating in the bay,
There's a house where no one lives
'Cause there's a squid in the water that would suck you down if you even thought of trying.
But at night when the house is dark
And there's no one there, there's a noise upstairs.
At the top of the stairs there's a door and the sound of someone crying...
And though no one sees it, something's moving just inside the door;
As a baby island tries to play, but it's just a little....warped.
So there's a creepy doll!
It's tumbling down the stairs.
It's got a squeaky voice
That cries out, "MA-ma!"
And there's another one,
She's holding out her arms
'Cause she just wants a hug...
And maybe....your soul.
No one screams 'cause there's no one there
Just another doll with a smashed-in face,
And a centipede crawls out the door, no wait, that's a ten-legged baby.
There's a clown with a crooked smile
And a patchwork girl with a torn-out eye
And a toddler without a head and a blank-faced black-haired lady.
They make their way through the spruce and pine to the wet and rocky beach,
Where the moonlight shines on their tangled hair and their tiny porcelain teeth...
And there's a creepy doll!
It's diving off the shore!
It's got a squeaky voice
That gurgles, "MA-ma!"
And there's another one,
She's floating upside down
With seaweed on her face
Don't breathe, can't drown....
And while all Fandom sleeps, the dolls are swimming through the night
Except the ones that levitate (holy crap, that's just not right)
The dolls are in the water and the dolls are in the air,
The dolls are on the causeway squeezing bracken from their hair and they are giggling...
Now they creep through the silent town
As the teal deer flee and the gremlins frown
At the doll with the bloody mouth and the fangs that could make them jealous.
Toward the school where the children nap
Crawls a baby girl with a moldy hat,
And a poppet so full of pins it's clear someone was...overzealous.
The white-haired brides glide slowly down the narrow twisty lanes,
And a dead-eyed schoolboy peers inside to see if Luke's sells brains...
Here come the creepy dolls!
They want to play with you!
They're really not so bad
Unless they're hungry.
And sure, some carry knives,
But others mean no harm.
It's really not their fault
That they're so freaky...
Here come the creepy dolls,
Who might just dance with you
Or they might only move
When you're not watching.
Here come the creepy dolls
Who want your blood or love --
Guess you'll find out which one
When they follow you hooome...

She wasn't sure what that meant -- if it ached it'd be an alligator in the tub, but itching? -- but knew it couldn't be good. In fact, it was bad.
She had a literal bad feeling about this.
