The Perk, Thursday Afternoon
So this week was beginning to get tiring even for Rebecca. Which meant sugary coffee drinks were in order.
Or it could mean she could just... stop having sex this week, but that was ridiculous.
So. She was here loading up on sugary drinks, at least in between rounds of being... elsewhere. Yes. And she was wearing a skimpy little outfit that might, very possibly, get in the way of her goal of recharging her batteries. You know. Maybe.
[[open! THIS NEVER GETS OLD. YOU'D THINK IT WOULD GET OLD BUT IT DOESN'T.]]

much of a hoenergetic as some but he still needed coffee. Especially after two classes, one of which involved pillow fights. He raised an eyebrow at Rebecca. With big brotherly concern, yes, that. "Lose something?" Like the rest of her clothes?

Or something.
In any event, she perked up at the sound of the door opening, thinking it might be about time for another round anyway -- then spotted Lex.
"Oh," she said. "It's you." Damn it, he looked hot. Why did everyone look so hot?

"No need to sound so excited to see me," he said. "People might start talking."
no subject
"And my flawless reputation would be ruined," Rebecca mused, looking so torn up about it, really. "Oh no."

"It may be too late," Rebecca said, with a nod to the squirrel and its tiny, tiny notebook. "Damn that paparazzi." Could you tell how much she cared? Could you?

And boy was Lex glad that once he was back in his own universe, he'd have a few years before that became the kind of problem it was now.

Which...yes, had meant a lot of time spent alone in his room with his computer. He felt like a hermit. He barely even knew what that word meant, but dammit, he felt like one. And so today he'd actually left the room, showered and shaved both his face and the growth beside his mohawk, and was now out for coffee. Because dammit, he was going to be really fucking energetic and not at all distracted and keyed up. He had been doing this for years. Quinn deserved better than some guy who couldn't keep his eyes on her face.
Of course, that plan nearly went right out the window when he walked into the Perk and saw that one hot girl from the picnic there looking all...not as clothed as she should be in February. Shit. Shiiiit.
But he was just going to stride on past her and focus on the very, very unsexy coffee he was getting. Coffee was not attractive. No.

"Well, hi," she said, turning on aaall the charm. Leaning her cleavagey self over the table and all. Didn't coffee look sexier when her cup was all... near her boobs?

Look! Manners! He had them!

However after jogging four times around the island, he needed something to drink.
It was then he spotted Rebecca who in many ways has a passing resemblance to Allison, which caused him to do a double take. He was about to call out to her when of course he realized that no, this was definitely not Allison.
However now he was just standing there mutely doing a double take at Rebecca's outfit. With his mouth hanging open.
C'mon, Jack. Snap out of it.

"Hey there."
no subject
"Hi!" he said as if the greeting surprised him. "Um, you wouldn't-"
And that was the point Jack stopped himself from asking if Rebecca might be somehow related to Allison and then realized he had stopped talking again.
And then he was just looking at her boobs. And then he realized he was looking at the breasts of a girl who was about the same age of his daughter. Which was just WRONG in his head.
And so what came out next was just a painful sounding "Hi?"
no subject
"You okay?" she asked, evidently amused and... uh... cleavagey. "You look a little distracted."
So stretching her arms back behind her would be wrong, yes? Very wrong. Which was why she was doing it. Sorry about that.
no subject
Of course that didn't mean Jack didn't look away. His eyes did try to pop out of his head before his hand shot up to his temple to cover his eyes.
"Nope!" Jack yelped. "Nope. Just fine. Just going to Hell."
He really didn't mean to add that last bit. That's what happen when you don't have an internal monologue.

And pay no attention to the coffee stirrer she was slowly tracing around her lips. Or do.

Well, at least not with his friends. Again.
So, he had hid out in his dorm room for the week, leaving only for classes, and now coffee.
And there was a very hot chick, where very little, with a very impressive rack. Maybe he could get two hot drinks to go...
"Feeling cold yet?"
no subject
"That's why I got this," Rebecca said, tapping her coffee cup and holding it up. "Resourceful, right?"
no subject
Seifer had lots of ideas on that.
no subject
"Why, whatever could you mean?" she asked, oh-so innocently.
no subject
"Well, I could be lame and pull out some line if you want. Like, 'Hi I'm Seifer, nice shoes, wanna..." He paused and grinned. "Something tells me you're a classier sort of girl though. So, how about, want to get out of here and work up a sweat somewhere else?"
no subject
Look. It was just a week, okay? Don't you judge her.
