Piper was naturally curious when she learned that her potential future daughter was now a teenager. When Lindsey suggested they go to Fandom to meet her, of course she agreed. She definitely wanted to meet this version of her daughter. But now that she was here sitting in a restaurant, waiting to meet her, she was starting to feel a little nervous.

Didn't many teenagers roll their eyes and resent their parents?

"What if she hates me in the future?" Piper sighed.

She'd find out soon enough.

"She probably wouldn't have called if she hated us," Lindsey pointed out. "Or agreed to meet up with us. Unless she really hates us and wants to make us suffer. But I didn't really get that impression yesterday."

"She called you, not me," Piper pointed out. She was probably a little more distressed about that than she should be.

"Wouldn't worry about that. Maybe you worry too much in the future and I'm the laid back one." Which would make a lot of sense, really.

"I'm not a worrier." Yes, she was. "And I'm totally laid back." No, she was not.

"I think that's her," Piper said before she could argue that point more.

Lynn walked over to the table when she spotted her parents. She might have been just as nervous as her mother was. Which was so weird because she knows them...or will? Time travel hurt her head.

"Hi Mom and Dad."

Lindsey reached over to squeeze Piper's hand as the girl approached.

"You got taller," Lindsey said observantly. "Huh. Uh, hey."

"You look the same," Lynn told them, taking a seat. They both aged pretty well...for old people. Old from the point of view of a fifteen-year-old.

Piper smiled at her. "You look so much like your dad."

"People tell me I look like you both all the time," Lynn said, returning the smile. This wasn't so bad.

"I can see it," Lindsey said. "You got all the good genes. Of course, with us, they're all good genes."

So modest.

"Do I keep you locked up though? Scare off the boys with a shotgun?" Because he would.

"No," Lynn said, laughing slightly. Then she frowned. "Wait, is that something you would do? I mean, it's bad enough I have to worry about Mom and her scary hands. No offense, Mom."

Piper just shook her head in amusement. "None taken."

"Her hands are awesome," Lindsey protested with a smirk. INAPPROPRIATE, Lindsey. "But I totally would. It probably wouldn't be loaded. Probably." It totally would be.

"They have vanquished a lot of demons," Lynn said. It was probably a very good thing she did not get the actual meaning of that comment. Really!

Piper totally facepalmed, though.

"I take care of myself pretty well all on my own," Lynn added. "I just TK the bad guys."

Like her Aunt Prue.

"I'm gonna be outnumbered by witches forever, aren't I?" Lindsey asked. "It's a wonder I've made it this far. And into the future."

As if he'd have it any other way.

"And you will love it," Piper said, smiling. That didn't sound like a bad future at all.

"She's right," Lynn said. "We have a pretty good life."

She thought that was something they'd want to know.

"I'm glad," Lindsey said. Maybe that meant he wasn't going to turn out evil like that British kid in the library had said.

"And you're not at all spoiled, right?" Lindsey, she's not going to admit to that.

He wasn't evil. She would know! At least she thought she would know?

"Not even a little," Lynn smirked. No, she was not going to admit to that.

She would totally know. He'd have a black hat and a goatee or something. Really!

"I don't think I believe you," Lindsey said. "Not even a little bit."

"You're probably the one who does most of the spoiling," Piper said with a little smirk.

Lynn wasn't going to say she was right.

"Because I'm the awesome parent," Lindsey answered. "Obviously." Or maybe because his future daughter had daddy wrapped around her little finger from day one.

Maybe a little of both.

She smiled at both of her parents. "You're both pretty awesome."

"See?" Lindsey turned to Piper and grinned. "Told you she didn't hate us."

"I wasn't worried," Piper said a bit sheepishly.

Lynn raised an eyebrow. "You always worry. But you mean well."

"Of course you weren't," Lindsey said. "You never are, right?"

"Never," Piper smirked. Because even she knew that wasn't true.

Lynn just shook her head and chuckled. "You both aren't very different in the future."
