Fandom Fish 'N Bait - Friday
Today was a bad, bad day for Jon. A day where the cricket shipment had broken open, as did a wrong shipment of North American Green Tree Frogs. The result being a lot of happy frogs chasing after unhappy crickets and making a lot of noise.
The solution? Put up a sign that says
Free Tree Frogs!
Find one, and it's yours!

He couldn't help it. He was still feeling antsy about seeing the kids off on Monday, he'd been out for a walk, and he couldn't help but overhear a spectacular amount of chirping as he had passed by tie Fish 'N Bait. Sometimes, a person just needed to get nosy.
"These aren't temporary Fandom frogs that are just going to up and vanish tomorrow or something, are they?"

Yeah, Jono. Want some tree frogs?

Note how this was not an immediate no, Jon? Jono was thinking maybe a tank would look fairly not-out-of-place in the lobby at the Boards, if nothing else.
And, really, he was just a big kid sometimes, and frogs were pretty awesome.

"And because I'm such a nice guy, I will toss in a really nice terrarium set up for free."

It was a good business move!
Also, froggies!
No, really. Sometimes Jono really was a twelve-year-old boy at heart.

At some point, he would find the other eight. Or they would end up mutating and taking over the island.
"Donating sounds good. It would definitely be good for business. And a decent distraction the next time people get turned into kids."
He will help you justify your froggies, Jono!

"And how many of those twelve would you be willing to part with? I was thinking maybe just a few for the lobby, but if you want to get rid of more beyond that, I imagine I could set up another tank in my room or something. Lord knows I've got the space for it." A beat. "I would pay for the second tank myself, of course."
The froggies. He wanted them.

"Well, that terrarium on the counter is three by two, and it could hold three pair of frogs. I have some bigger and smaller ones in the back that I haven't put up yet."
He would indulge all he could, Jono. "The smaller tanks could hold one or two pair comfortable. And they're not that hard to set up. Just some daylight, since they're noctural, and maybe a blue or black light so people could see them move around in the dark. And then just keeping the tank humid."

Jono was not afraid of getting creative with plants. But the prospect of making a trip to the mainland in order to get them was making him hesitate a bit.

Hey, he was already ordering crabs for Momoko. What were some plants?

That Jono. So difficult to please.
