jgob, tuesday afternoon
Sam was mostly out of uniform. Sure, he'd put on the pants and the shirt but the vest was long gone, there was no sign of his tie and his shirt was untucked. He just couldn't bring himself to continue to wear that stupid outfit. Sure, behaving was probably the best option but he hoped he could be forgiven in the light of the stupid clothes.
He was sitting outside JGOB, drinking some bad coffee with his feet up in one of the chairs across from him. Really, he was just out of the dorms to be out of them. There was a weird vibe there all things considered.
He'd mostly been keeping to himself since Sunday and today wasn't any different even if he was in public. He was still alone and still halfway brooding.
[Sam's here for one person but the post is open!]

Sorry, Sam. That was indeed Gideon who had just been walking on by, and was now stopping for another pleasant little chat.
He clicked his tongue. "And disrespecting the dress code."

"I lost some of my uniform," Sam lied, looking up. "I think someone stole it. Terrible tragedy, that."

"You should talk to some of your school administration about that," he said. "We wouldn't want the funding to get cut off because it looks like it's not being spent on the appropriate things."
no subject
"Do you really care about this school or are you here just to be some pretentious douche with hipster glasses?"
no subject
But Natalie wasn't here. Gideon twisted his lips, like he was oh so hurt, really. Except not. "Of course I care. For one thing, this place is amusing."

"I'm sorry, is this your little dorm room or something?"
Because if it wasn't, this didn't seem that personal to him.

Wait.
"Oh, well, totally personal."

Even if she preferred another name.
"And how do you know she wouldn't talk to me?"

It was obviously a promotional photo, of a handsome twentysomething guy with bleached blonde hair and intense dark eyes, and a white t-shirt with the number 3 on the front in black.
"Do you happen to know who this is?"
no subject
Well, it was a bad dye job.
"Should I know who he is?"
no subject
He watched for a reaction, because he felt fairly certain he'd get one.

"Todd Ingram." He didn't look like he was eleven anymore. "That's...just great. I know who that is. Why are you showing me this?"
no subject
"No reason," he said, getting up from his chair and straightening his jacket. It was a lie, of course. Even if all the reason he had was to cause havoc for his own amusement. "Consider it a peace offering."
Or a mindfuck. Probably that, actually.

Sam glared at him and had to force himself not to get up.
"You've got a crap definition of peace. Stay away from Natalie."

"Jerk."

Then he went on his way, whistling a tune as he walked. one of Envy's, naturally.
He was a dick like that.
