The Devil's Nest- Sunday
Susan had never been to a graduation here before, so she wasn't entirely sure how things worked, or whether any guests were still on island. So just in case, she prepared herself for having to explain to people who the simple act of hand-stamping worked. It amazed her how often people put up a fight about showing a little piece of plastic.
She was also hoping she wouldn't have to explain the 90's pop hits theme the DJ had going. Because she couldn't explain that at all.
The Devil's Nest was open.

The Door
Re: The Door
Even if he didn't have any intention of actually drinking. Just sitting at a bar was a grown-up thing, right?
"Hello," he said, offering Susan a smile as he held out his hand for a stamp.
[[some mild SP for the next little bit, but i didn't want to have him leave without another thread with this one]]

Which he didn't, really, because... Fandom.
Re: The Door
"When do you leave?" she wondered.
Re: The Door
"Tomorrow, I think," he said with a half-shrug. "Or as soon as my, ah, colleague gets fed up with the island and drags me to the causeway." He offered a shrug, explaining, "She was unimpressed with the graduation ceremony yesterday, apparently. Something about there not being enough giant snakes."
Perks of a Hellmouth education.
Re: The Door
Which, of course, it was.
Re: The Door
To put it mildly.
"Do you, ah, have any plans for the summer?"

The Bar
Re: The Bar
The morning's vacation feeling had again passed - especially after being forced to watch Petra and Peter argue for several hours straight - and by now he was desperate enough to find some time to get some work done that he'd actually fled into a bar to do so.
Conform to his age, he was sipping from a glass of coke, duty rosters still in hand, and enjoying the lack of... well, complaining.
Re: The Bar
So tonight, Jaina was drinking. She wasn't getting drunk, because she hadn't done that in years her time and didn't miss it even a little, bur she felt like absolutely no one would blame her for going to the bar tonight.

No, she wasn't downplaying it at all, of course not.

Re: The VIP Section
Not that she'd ever been great at optimism. But look, she'd made it through the whole week without any sort of stress breakdown.
