The Park, Tuesday evening

Sam had gotten to the park in the early afternoon, ready to defend their claimed Halfoween territory from all comers.

Mostly, this meant doing a lot of chasing of ducks.

She also managed to do at least a little bit of decorating while she was at it, stringing up black and orange streamers and decking out a party bush in little multi-colored bats. All this activity distracted her from eating all the food before anyone arrived, so there was even a few tables filled with various snacks and desserts!

Halfoween, aka Sam-and-Freddie's-excuse-to-throw-a-costume-party, was a go!

[ooc: Party is open to anyone and everyone! Costumes NOT required, but Sam will probably give you a random hat and/or make fun of you if you don't have one.]

Show up and show off your last minute costume.

Sam, for instance, was dressed as hand sanitizer.

Topher was not the least bit costumified. But he was here, contentedly munching on snacks. And that was what made the party a party, right?

Sam spotted the lack of costumes and soon enough, was looming behind him, holding a bright red, bulging sack. "Hey, doofus."

"I don't want that on me," Topher said immediately.

In case she was wondering.

Oh Topher. You wish she just meant to put you in a sack. Sam raised a skeptical eyebrow at him and yanked the top of the sack open.

"Grab a hat."

[ooc: hat may be modded, or I can pick one from the internets for you]

With an indulgent sigh, Topher stuck his hand in the bag and plucked one out at random.

"Oh," he said, looking at his selection. "Yeah, no."

Toby had missed the earlier announcements pertaining to Halfoween.

Which is why when he happened to be walking around outside and noticed the party setup in the park, he had to ask: "...Did I miss an announcement somewhere about a party?"

"I put up posters and yelled a lot," Sam explained.

What? Wasn't doing that the day before totally enough notice for people?

"Yesterday?" Toby raised an eyebrow. "A little short-notice there."

"Do you need a costume?" Sam asked. "I have hats."

"Depends. Do I have to wear a costume?" He was guessing from the general theme of the decor that the answer was going to be 'yes'.

Kenzi was a volunteer firefighter. Complete with boots, fire extinguisher, and hat.

An awesome hat. The guys down at the firehouse are still wondering where it is.

"Fooooooood!"

"That's gotta be the most authentic firefighter costume I've ever seen," Sam noted. "Where'd you swipe it from?"

What? She'd met Kenzi, after all.

Kenzi paused to check the label inside the hat. "Firehouse 58, about a mile into Baltimore," she said, grinning. "They have a very nice station house puppy."

"Did you nab that one, too?"

"I came thisclose to doing it and then remembered how much it probably wouldn't appreciate wandering the dorm halls." Kenzi sighed in remembrance. "I'm seriously thinking of getting a cat or something now, though." She grinned at Sam's hat. "How'd you guys come up with this plan?"

Freddie had debated about dressing up like Lewbert, but then realized 99% of the student population at Fandom had no idea who Lewbert the Doorman even was.

So instead, he settled for smoldering sparkly teen vampire. Hey, he still had the outfit after all. And he liked doing the hair.

"This was really a great idea," he mused out loud.

Sam totally wasn't seeing how many cheetos she could fit in his hair without him noticing.

"It really is! We should throw more parties."

"We just need to keep coming up with more excuses for 'em," Freddie said. "Like... Arbor Day or Bastille Day or... that sort of thing."

He grinned. "Wait, what's your costume supposed to be, any way?"

"We should definitely do Best-Steal Day," Sam decided.

What?

She tilted her head down so he could properly see the bottle in her hat. "Hand sanitizer."

"Does it..." He gestured at the bottle in her hat.

There's punch and loads of ~~totally moddable~~ snacks!

And meat. Lots and lots of meat.

It wouldn't be an iCarly party without some random dancing!

Without Spencer around, there weren't any way-too-complicated contraptions to dunk you into a giant basket of prizes, but they at least had bobbing for apples.
