Over the last three years, Tara had grown to like the quiet break weeks on the island. This one, though, was a bit harder because her classmates were going -- even if she'd kept her head low and avoided goodbyes.
There might have been another reason May 3 wasn't the happiest day on her personal calendar, too.
She tried not to dwell on any of it as she reorganized the bookshelves.
