Goodvalor's Little Bivoli, Friday

Well, hey. The first week of classes had been and gone and nothing had blown up or otherwise gone horribly wrong (though Toby supposed there was technically enough time for something to happen today), so that was nice.

Well, okay. There had been whatever the h-e-double-hockey-sticks hell had been going on with swear words yesterday, but that was just mildly annoying more than anything.

But today was a new day! With yet another vaguely disturbing-sounding special, at least from Toby's perspective.

So sometimes Ben got hungry even when people brought him lunch. Sue him.

"You have L'Lahsh-marinated nutrient globules?" he asked excitedly. "That's astral!"

"...That is?" Toby blinked at him. It wasn't very often that he got people in who actually recognised what was on the menu.

Toby was... less certain about the yumminess of whatever the hell Ben had described. But far be it for him to argue with a customer, so. Within a few minutes Ben had his double-order plate of globules.

"I suppose one of these days I should get around to tasting more of the specials," he admitted.

"Sure," Toby decided. "Why the hell not?" Ben was human, right? So it wasn't like whatever he was eating could be poisonous, different galaxy or no.

"Aunt Leia says it's best with Alderaanian vegetables," Ben said pushing the plate toward Toby, "but those are kind of hard to come by since the planet blew up."
