Okay, teaching a class had set her schedule back considerably -- and she hadn't wanted to know what was up with that previous sign. Pixie Dust? Ugh. Most pixies she knew were obnoxious little twerps.

She thought she'd improved upon it considerably, with the dark black gothic font reading

DEMON MARCUS

Okay, a little over-the-top, but it was a chain store, so her hands were tied. And now the merchandise was all set up -- designers up front, cheap stuff near the back, and all the interesting demonic wear over to one side. And at least now the shop catered to a more diverse range of body styles. Most of what she'd found in here before was just humanoid.

A vast improvement over the original. Of course, the room in the back where the previous owner appeared to set fire to tacky clothing? That she just might keep.

In the meantime, she was going to add a small Help Wanted sign to the door, pour herself a glass of wine, and wait for customers to show up and bother her.
