Gunther had asked Mary to mail some letters for him this morning. She wished she'd asked to see them first before agreeing because Gunther had a large box full of envelopes without postage. All of them were addressed to the Food Network headquarters. Gunther's explanation was that he kept writing to Paula Deen to ask her out on a date but she never responded. Mary quietly dumped the letters in the garbage as soon as Gunther went back to the kitchen.
