The Perk, Wednesday Afternoon
Calculating a multiversal time difference was tricky when math had not been your strong suit in the first place. See, Kate had grabbed a portal right after work without even changing her clothes first (though she did have a summery dress tucked in her bag), because she'd come to the conclusion that that was the only way she'd even make it to the party.
But she had to admit she hadn't been terribly surprised to come to Fandom and realize she was hours early. This crap happened all the time.
So, there was a SkyKans flight attendant at the Perk, now, buying an iced coffee (and yes, they were finally serving her without side-eyeing her – possibly because she was obviously allowed to handle caffeine at her work as well) before taking a seat at a table by the window to figure out what she wanted to do with this extra time.
[ooc: Kate is here mainly for a prearranged chance encounter, but the post is open, naturally!]

What he hadn't expected upon his arrival today was a really, really pretty stewardess at one of the tables. He did his best to contain himself, but a dorky grin immediately spread across his face.
"Whoa," he said quietly. No, Frank. Not the right thing to say. "Hi."

"Uh, hi?" she offered with a small smile, trying to decide whether this could be someone she knew but with the wrong face, or something.

That just came out automatically by now.

Yeah, Frank had never heard that term before. Being from 1959 and all.

Right, then. 'Flight attendant.' It didn't sound as cute, but okay, he could go with it.
"...What kind of doughnut do you want?"

Which was good because otherwise he wouldn't have seen Kate. "Hey!"
