The Beach, Early Morning
It was early morning and Savannah had gone for a run on the beach. She had an intense work-out routine that she kept to and she always ran along the beach at the same time every morning. She liked being out when the sun was first starting to rise over the ocean and she could smell the breeze and feel the ocean spray against her legs.
After the run, she took the time to walk along the beach toward the town so that she could cool off and get her mind focused on her plans for the day.
She certainly didn't expect to feel a force bolt slam into her side and push her towards the water.

"Hello, Savannah," he greeted levelly.

Savannah didn't let the emotions she was feeling show on her face. This was not altogether unexpected. Painful, but not unexpected. Her own hand clenched at her side, ready to release the force bolt spell she had started when she was first hit.
"So, what, they decided to send you as their bomb to try and take me out in some defiant idea of poetic justice?"

She was his responsibility. If he couldn't help her, then... well, best not think of that. It hurt too much.
"You look good, by the way. Evil apparently agrees with you."

She shrugged. "I keep in shape every day."

Savannah, at last,
We see each other plain
`M'sieur le Mayor,'
You'll wear a different chain!
Oh, damn the island. Damn it all to hell.

"Before you say another word, Sean Nast
Before you attack me like a villain again
Listen to me! There is something I must do.
These people are suffering children
There is none but me who can intercede,
In Umbridge's name, a few days are all I need.
Then I'll return, I pledge my word.
Then I'll return..."
This was so not how her day was supposed to be going.

I've hunted you across the years
Women like you can never change
A woman such as you.
Sean really, really hated the island right now. Even more than he usually did.

"Say of me what you will
This is a duty that I'm sworn to do
You know nothing of my life
All I did was strive for the light
You know nothing of the world
You would sooner see me dead
But not before I see this justice done
I am warning you Sean Nast
I'm a stronger witch by far
There is power in me yet
My race is not yet run
I am warning you Sean Nast
There is nothing I won't dare
If I have to kill you here
I'll do what must be done!"
She managed to throw a force bolt spell at him before she was forced to sing again.

Women like you can never change
No,
24601
My duty's to the law - you have no
Rights
Come with me 24601
Now the wheel has turned around
Savannah Levine is nothing now
Dare you talk to me of crime
And the price you had to pay
Every man is born in sin
Every man must choose his way
You know nothing of Nast
I was born inside a jail
I was born with scum like you
I am from the gutter too!
Oh, he was so getting drunk as all hell later. Really, really drunk.

She managed to get back to her feet and reacted with a knock back spell.
"And this I swear to you today...."

"There is no place for you to hide"

"Your fate is one more will share..."

Sean was struggling to his feet, before getting hit by her spell and getting knocked back down again. This was not how this was supposed to go!

Of course, she wasn't going to be allowed to attack him without singing one last verse it seemed.
"I swear to you, I will be there!"
After the last note of the song, the suffocation spell snapped around Sean from his throat up. She would feel really bad about killing him later.

The scream tore from Annja's throat even as she was scrambling down the rocks away from where she had been hiding. As she ran toward Sean, she summoned her sword and pulled a knife form the sheath at her hip. She paused only long enough to aim and throw the knife at Savannah before she was running to Sean again.

She had learned something from this fight, thought. Sean wanted her dead and she was truly capable of killing him to protect herself. The thought alone made her feel sick as she turned to return to the town.
The next time she saw Sean, one of them would die. She could feel that within every fiber of her being.
