The Perk, Tuesday morning
Bruce had a late night in one of his hidden workshops in his apartment (he had three... look, it was a large apartment!) working on some weapons. He'd heard about the plan for detention this weekend. He wasn't sure yet how that plan would affect his cover (maybe even rendering it needless), but it was a potential game-changer. So he needed to be prepared.
Unfortunately, being an up-and-coming figure in the Umbridge High regime meant he couldn't really afford to sleep in after a late night. He needed to be out, active, and awake in the daylight. And that meant a trip to the Perk, where Bruce could caffeinate himself while apparently working on lesson plans. That work would probably go a little more smoothly if the barista weren't in the background singing about the specials of the day. He had to give her some credit. At least she wasn't lazily using things ending in "-cino" for her rhymes.
[OOC: Open, although I will be slow due to work!]

To be more precise, he would get a serenade from a well-dressed girl with newly red hair.
Nothing you could say
Can tear me away from my guy
Nothing you could do
'Cause I'm stuck like glue to my guy
I'm stickin' to my guy
Like a stamp to a letter
Like the birds of a feather
We stick together
I'm tellin' you from the start
I can't be torn apart from my guy
Juliet smiled a bit when she finished. "That was a little strange, but ... hi! Are you being all teacher-y?"
She still couldn't believe her boyfriend was actually teaching.

"The hair's new. I like it."

His mom had red hair. Surprising no one. The guy had issues.

Juliet did not like being reminded she was still in school.

"But I hope you've been able to keep yourself entertained while I've been working. I know it's a change not having me around in the dorms anymore. I'm a little less available now."

She shrugged. What could you do?

"And then the island will be an even better place to live."

She eyed him thoughtfully. "Are there actual plans on how to end things, or are you just talking? tell me more, tell me more...

Having people get killed in front of your dorms was just tacky.

That was actually sincere. He may have been using Juliet for his cover, but that didn't mean he didn't have some genuine affection for her. He preferred if she didn't end up in the crossfire. Or as someone he'd need to hit with a projectile eventually.

Of course, he had a different take on 'a school thing' than most people. "I wanted to go back a couple years ago. But like you said, travel isn't simple."

And those were certainly not twin-we's.
