Stark Industries, Tuesday, July 24
Victor really shouldn't have been surprised that a stereo in the store was singing at him as he came in. The devices in the repair shop turned themselves on all the time; Victor usually just tried to ignore it so he could concentrate on his private work.
Domo Arigato, Mr. Roboto
Domo Arigato, Mr. Roboto
Mata ahoo Hima de
Domo Arigato, Mr. Roboto
Himitsu wo Shiri tai
But when he felt compelled to jump in with a verse of his own --
You're wondering who I am
(Secret, secret, I've got a secret)
Machine or mannequin
(Secret, secret, I've got a secret)
With parts made in Japan
(Secret, secret, I've got a secret)
I am the modern man
I've got a secret, I've been hiding under my skin
My heart is human, my blood is boiling
My brain I.B.M., so if you see me
Acting strangely, don't be surprised
-- that was a tad more unusual, especially as there was a herky-jerky robot dance involved that Victor just found tacky.
And who the hell was Kilroy?
He puzzled over that as he hooked himself into a national defense network and started scanning for any vulnerabilities Victorious might be able to take down one day. It was always good to be prepared.
[OOC: Open. OCD fled because it's embarrassed to be seen with someone who sings Styx.]

"Whatcha doing?"
[[will be slow, because SOMEONE wants birthday cheesecake, but should be quicker later!]]

He finally glanced over sheepishly. "Do you want me to do something else?"
no subject
"Nah, that's okay," Topher granted, because he was a generous robot-reprogrammer. "Just for fun, or to, you know, take them over?"

You and me, we're in this together now, he sang as he worked. None of them can stop us now. We will make it through somehow, you and me. If the world should break in two -- until the very end of me, until the very end of you.

He swung his arms, took a few steps toward the desk, then said casually, "So what were you talking about with Tony yesterday?"
no subject
So he could destroy him.
"Why?"
no subject
...So maybe Topher was a bit paranoid.
"Just wondering," Topher said. "He's kinda weird. You know." He shrugged. "As long as he didn't, like, try and play with your circuitry, or anything."
no subject
"Anyhow," he added, "it wasn't anything like that. But hey, do you think he could get me lasers?"
Lasers would be cool.
no subject
But really, not dirty.
"He might," Topher admitted. "He made me my taser thing." Wait, that wasn't appropriately discouraging. "But you should ask for a laser gun, not, you know, an upgrade," he added. "'Cause otherwise he might do something weird."
And, say, make Victor bring him sandwiches. Which would be cruel.
no subject
Which was too bad. Fingertip lasers would be way cooler than a gun.
no subject
He pondered that.
"Heh. I wonder if I could use my old laser tag equipment as the base for it."
...Only Topher.
no subject
Then, because programming is fun: "Is that okay?"
no subject
Yes, Topher. He got it.

TOPHER.

moddedrecited. "Oh! Do you want Doritos this time, or potato chips?"This moment was getting the auto-delete as soon as Victor was back to his senses.
no subject
"Let's go with Doritos," Topher decided after a moment to contemplate that. "Thanks, V."

Also, after the end of the week they would NEVER SPEAK OF THIS AGAIN.
