Alice wasn't sure what to make of the fact that for an entire week, she hadn't existed in Fandom. The question of whether she'd existed at all in that universe was at the back of her mind, but she refused to let it any further along in her thoughts than that. She had her work to do, thank you very much. She could dwell and angst some other time -- and she probably would. Cullens were good at that. It was damn near a skill.

For now, though, she was bustling around the shop, tidying up and unpacking a few boxes. It was a slow day, which she'd pretty much expected.

"I recommend any of the books on Native American culture, for starters," Alice said with a grin. "They're absolutely fascinating."

But Alice liked books, so she might have been biased.
