The Park, Early Saturday Morning
The Fandom Town Park had seen its share of portals, from misfired Portalocity arrivals, to rips in the Multiverse, to that shiny purple one that showed up every year and horked out kids like a bridge-troll with a bad case of colic, but it had never seen a portal like this one.
It was bigger.
It was brighter.
It was pur -- no, blue -- no, sil-- red -- gree -- IT WAS RAINBOW COLORED, OKAY? WITH HOLOGRAPHIC OPALESCENT SPRINKLES.
It was singing. (Specifically, it was singing It's All Coming Back To Me Now, half an octave above the top of Celine Dion's vocal range.)
It was also a gourmet cook, but since there wasn't anybody in the park at this hour to prove that to, it had to settle for showering the duck-pond with the tastiest breadcrumbs ever, as a final prelude to...
Horking. Bridge-troll. Colic. (But a really attractive bridge-troll who's the secret half-elven daughter of the High King of Ithiluvenariana.)
Future offspring? Please. These visitors were so much more awesomer than that.
[OOC: For all your sparkly, self-inserting needs! ...Not dirty.]

Not Morrigyyyyyyyyyn. She had simply traveled to the future and returned with an umbrella that could block the rays (and make her look adorable) and continued on her way.
She could feel where Eric was, but he was lame and still sleeping through the day. Morrigyyyn would have to make her own fun until he woke up.

Not that she fell down once she got through the portal, no. Leo had catlike reflexes. And when she looked around she didn't even need to ask where she was. Obviously she'd been so very lucky to end up where she could visit her big sister! Since she knew the entire town by heart because knowing things like that was a rare magical gift of hers, she knew exactly where to go to find her.
This was going to be an awesome trip!

But sometimes a half-vampire, half-immortal rock star had to obey the call of duty, and the prismatic portal before him was irresistible. He stepped through, patted his hair to ensure it was perfect as always, and strode off into the day.

She could practically feel her favorite niece's energy radiating out of it, and across the town she found on the other side. Neza smiled pleasantly, tilting her chin up to bask in the aura of the place. Of course Kenzi had found herself a home steeped in such magic. There was a reason she was Nezzie's favorite niece, after all.

Both the alpha-suit's sensors and her own psychic abilities registered the faint echoes of her younger half-sister's presence on this island, months ago now. Further back than that, there was Tambi checking in, that made sense, and....Griffin had visited? Ah, for a concert. But there was something else, something....
Argent's blood-red eyes glowed brightly for a moment as the power of the suit surged through the broken blood vessels that were the permanent souvenir of her death and resurrection -- and also because she was pissed, and they always glowed when she was pissed.
Veronica Bouedaue had been here! This definitely meant Argent had to check the place out - - where her vicious, power-hungry adopted cousin went, trouble followed -- usually trouble for Katina.
She couldn't just walk around the place in a skin-tight metallic superhero suit, though. Blending in, that was the ticket. Luckily, she was a master of espionage and a talented amateur fashion designer, so it only took a second for her instinctive natural control over the suit to re-shape it into a shiny silver tank top, short black patent leather skirt, and thigh-high boots with 3-inch heels.
There. Perfect. Now she wouldn't look out of the ordinary at all. Shaking her knee-length blonde hair with three bright crimson streaks in it out of her bright crimson eyes, the telepathic zombie call-girl assassin physicist strode off toward town.

No one had come along with her this time, which was slightly disappointing. When she tumbled out of the portal she rolled in a way that made her raven colored hair shine in the sunlight. Oh well there would be plenty more chances to flip her hair later.
