As it turned out, even after Alec had been so careful to schedule his work shift on a day that he didn't have any classes, the whole Student Council thing was taking place on Fridays anyway. That was a little disappointing, since Alec sort of liked spending an uninterrupted day at the shop surrounded by weapons, since he was a very weird person, but it was what it was, so he tried to do a lot of work organizing things in the morning to make up for it.

When he came back from StuCo, it seemed like a lot of his organization had gone ahead and rearranged itself, so he got to do it all over again. Well, you couldn't say he wasn't keeping himself busy.
