Wellspring Arms & Meditation Center, Monday
After a long (long, long, long) weekend where Jan had apparently decided that sleep was the devil and absolutely refused to go to bed, Cable was... well, kind of looking forward to some peace and quiet.
Which was why he'd gone in and opened up the store, taking Tether with him.
Now the dog was curled up by the door while he went through the news in blissful, wonderful silence.
Mmm. Silence.

What do you know, it still sounded ridiculous. Still, it was serious so Alice kept a perfect poker face.

He nodded. "In that case," he said, "We work with daily shifts here. Mondays and Wednesdays are still open."

"Mondays sound good."

He gestured at the weapons cases. "Everything else is free game. So to speak."

Fandom was shaping up to be a pretty interesting place, if anything. "Alright; sounds simple enough."
