Devil's Nest, Monday, 10/29

The DJ was having another clever day today; "Have You Ever Seen the Rain," "Waterfalls," "Stormy Weather," and about four different songs that seemed to all be called "Hurricane."

Jack did his best to ignore it as he made plans for the night ahead. Between the storm and the full moon, he wondered if drinking a bottle of Nyquil and barring himself in Derek's basement until the weather passed was any kind of an option. It certainly didn't look to be fit weather for a wolf to be out in.

He also quickly checked the bar to make sure it was fully stocked. If anyone made the journey out just to drink and dance tonight, they deserved the best of what the club had to offer.

[OOC: Open club, no OCD.]
justlurkinghere: (will you shut up about Allison already?)

Derek did not shake like a dog to get the rain off when he rushed into the club. No, he just shook his head. In a completely normal fashion for a human.

Yes.

"California is sounding better and better," he grumbled.

"I hope not," Derek replied, taking the towel gratefully. This was the time when wearing a leather jacket was not the most practical.
justlurkinghere: (shirtless scenes are a must)

"Works for me." DAMN YOU, HURRICANES.

Derek shucked the jacket and then, upon remembering he was from an MTV show about teenage werewolves, took off the shirt as well to begin drying off.

You're welcome.
justlurkinghere: (I just want a shirt)

[personal profile] justlurkinghere 2012-10-30 01:31 am (UTC)(link)
Derek grunted as though it was such a hardship, wringing the shirt out. "We'll survive."
justlurkinghere: (actual puppy Derek Hale)

[personal profile] justlurkinghere 2012-10-30 01:36 am (UTC)(link)
"You've mostly come across as... playful," Derek said, tugging the shirt back on. "Was it different before?"

Before Derek was there, at least.

Derek hummed thoughtfully at that. "Hunter's Moon tonight. Hopefully the storm will dull those instincts."
justlurkinghere: (I'm the beta (damn it season 1))

[personal profile] justlurkinghere 2012-10-30 01:51 am (UTC)(link)
Derek shot him a look for that. "They have names, the full moons. Old names. It's--the moon for the last month of hunting before winter begins."
justlurkinghere: (talking at you)

[personal profile] justlurkinghere 2012-10-30 01:59 am (UTC)(link)
"Usually? The Wolf Moon."

JUST ASK SCOTT ABOUT THAT.
justlurkinghere: (bitch I am adorable)

[personal profile] justlurkinghere 2012-10-30 02:05 am (UTC)(link)
Derek had to snort at that. "Pretty auspicious, yeah."
justlurkinghere: (talking at you)

[personal profile] justlurkinghere 2012-10-30 02:17 am (UTC)(link)
"I feel it all day," Derek replied, reaching behind the bar for a bottle of water.
justlurkinghere: (not bad!)

[personal profile] justlurkinghere 2012-10-30 02:20 am (UTC)(link)
"Any aggression issues leading up to it?"
justlurkinghere: (BLUE STEEL)

[personal profile] justlurkinghere 2012-10-30 02:23 am (UTC)(link)
"It'll get better," he replied dryly. "Be glad you're not a kid going through this. Hormones only make it worse."
justlurkinghere: (can't ready my poker face)

[personal profile] justlurkinghere 2012-10-30 02:30 am (UTC)(link)
"Were you here for that?" Whoa, Derek! That sounds like actual discussion of a friend variety.
justlurkinghere: (sometimes I need a hug)

[personal profile] justlurkinghere 2012-10-30 02:37 am (UTC)(link)
Derek nodded, looking away as he drank his water. "It was a quiet town, no one knew what we were. Safe."
