Edge of the Preserve heading into town: Saturday Morning [11-3-12]

A young Native American woman walked out of the preserve and paused to lift her face to the sun in respect. You could tell she was Native American because of her long black hair and the feather she had woven into it and the silver feather earrings and the blue turquoise necklace she was wearing. (Hey, networks had to be clear about these things, especially when you were adding a role solely to add ethnic diversity after getting crap about it from the higher ups.)

She looked wise for her years and somewhat mystical (because, see, Native American) and while they weren't entirely sure how her storyline would go yet (because, you know, last minute addition to help raise the ratings), there would certainly be lots of introductory establishy shots of her communing with nature as she made her way into the town. And thus, plenty of opportunity for people to interact with her.
