The Skywalker Diamond Mine (again) [Sunday afternoon during the wedding]

After making their slightly squeaky escape from the wedding with the deed to the mine in their hands, Cade and Atton raced back through the stair-ridden streets of Fandom on their motorbikes and learned a valuable lesson: diamond mining was hard.

"I say we just blow the whole thing up again," Cade said, tossing his spade down in frustration and wiping carefully applied dirt from his face with his shirt. Because people loved shirtlessness.

Atton, who was wearing his jacket but no shirt (because some things didn't change, even if Fandom had just gone wacky again) threw his own spade at the wall. "You know, if we use enough explosives," he said.

Dramatic pause.

"We might be able to BLOW THIS MINE TO THE MAINLAND."

"That could work!" Cade said excitedly because the writers had no working knowledge of physics.

"I'm going to go get the explosives," Atton said, because he just kept those around on his bike for no good reason.

"I'm going to stand here and catch my breath," Cade replied.

And glisten in the sun, naturally.

Atton walked outside and came back a second later holding a Very Visible Package.

He stood there silently for a few seconds so the slash fangirls could read all sorts of things into his Gazing Expectantly At Cade.

Heh. Package.

Moving on!

"Would you like some help with your package?" Cade asked.

"You know where to put it," Atton said, throwing it towards Cade with no regard for safety standards whatsoever.

Cade caught it and made sure the "TNT" showed up prominently for the less swift members of the audience. "I do. We'll have about thirty seconds to move after I cut the red wire."

That wasn't how explosives worked.

"Well, hurry up," Atton said. "I'll be standing guard at the front."

Standing guard. Yes.

"Bet it'd be quicker if we used the bikes to escape."

Plus the producers wanted something Really Dramatic.

"Bringing them in!" Atton called.

What? He was.

This was going to look so fake so fake!

There was the sounding of revving engines and Cade's voice yelling, "Fire in the hole!"

"FIRE IN THE HOLE!!!"

A very impressive fire! You could barely even tell it was just a scale model of the diamond mine!

...It became somewhat easier once you factored in the two 'men on motorbikes' suddenly bursting out the front of the mine with the explosion superimposed behind them while someone played a really bad instrumental cover of an old 90s 'metal' cartoon tune.
