Oh, it was a burn barrel day at Demon Marcus.
It was such a burn barrel day at Demon Marcus. And it wasn't even that there was more hideous stock in than usual, though they had been shipped some croc shoes that absolutely cried out to be immolated. Actually, it was sort of the opposite, leaving Sparkle scowling at all of the decent stock before poking around for garbage or something that he could feed to the fire, instead.
Today's shift at Demon Marcus was going to see an awful lot of Sparkle playing 'will it burn' with coat hangers, product packaging, damaged mannequin parts, and other assorted bits of trash, reaching into the fire bare-handed to pull things out when they looked like they weren't going to have any of it.
