Once Victor got to work the usual ten minutes late, got the usual snark from JARVIS about how such a sophisticated piece of technology might think about being on time once in a while, and swept a pile of tangerines out of his work area, Victor was ready for the important business of the day.
In this case, it meant texting back and forth with Chase to make absolutely certain he was good to come home for Thanksgiving. It sounded like L.A. was pretty peaceful, so it looked like a go.
The whole thing made Victor happy. He hadn't expected to spend this long without seeing them.
