The song playing in the bar tonight wasn't nearly as annoying as other nights. No, today was apparently dedicated to different version of the song Baby It's Cold Outside.

So, for once, Derek wasn't actually pissed off at the world as he worked. Well, no more than usual.

Pinkie popped up at the bar like a jack-in-the-box, then proceeded to slump over it like a deflated balloon, her lower lip stuck out in an exaggerated pout. "Today was the last day of my class for the semester," she said. Her lip slid out even further and started to wobble.

The lower lip wobbled harder, and the light reflections in Pinkie's eyes started wobbling in counter point. Feel her sadness, Derek!

"I'm going to miss it so much!"

That was new. But, given he was in a state of YAY GIRLFRIEND himself, he was mildly surprised the whole bloody world wasn't bursting into song.

"Probably, but she's here for a few days and I had a question." And frankly Emma was sometimes better in small doses, especially if one hadn't seen her in a bit; it had been good to get some ait. But Jack wouldn't admit that.

"What do you think will happen since I wasn't my right self for the moon last month?"
