Most people would be taking it easy on Christmas Eve. Then again, most people wouldn't give her employees the day off and cover for them by herself on Christmas Eve. Even Gunther had taken off for an early start to his holiday. Fortunately, there was plenty of food to go around as Mary kept finding fruitcakes everywhere. They were in the desk drawers, on top of her computer monitor, in the janitor's closet, and piled up under the specials board. Mary even found chunks of fruitcake in her salad at lunch time, and no matter how hard she tried to pick out the fruitcake bits, they kept appearing on her fork just as she was taking a bite.
