With today being Zayne's final shift before returning to a war for the foreseeable future in the new year, he was going ahead and running the most extensive diagnostics he could on the droids. He even picked up a maintenance droid to help keep all of the other droids running in his absence.

During some of the downtime he had while the diagnostics were running, he put a sign up in the window. "HELP WANTED," it said. "WORK FOR ROBOTS!" That might have a certain kind of appeal to Earthlings who didn't live in a droid-filled society. Although he did have to apologize to GG-54 for calling them mere 'robots.' It was an Earth thing.

Well, yeah, Toby was gonna stop by and see his boss-and-sometimes-teacher during the latter's final shift at the restaurant.

"And here I'd actually gotten used to calling them 'droids'," Toby said, giving the sign an amused look.

"Don't worry, the sign's just for anyone who might be interested. They'll learn the right word during orientation," Zayne said.

"Oh good," Toby said with a nod. "I'm glad to know you plan to cover the important points."

"I don't want any potential new employees to upset the droids. That just leads to chaos and software conflicts," Zayne said.

"Which never end well," Toby agreed. "Although hopefully it wouldn't come to like, screws being left in meals and stuff."
