Demon Marcus [Tuesday afternoon]
Technically speaking, the store was open -- the lights were on, music was playing, and there was a lithe redhead going through the racks with a clipboard in the crook of one arm. Jane was mostly here to do inventory, though -- now that most of her things were en route to Fandom courtesy of Lydia (and while Jane would never say so, she was a little concerned about the condition of her stuff once it arrived, because...Lydia), she wanted to ensure that she had her store (her store!) figured out and put together just how she'd like.
And she knew, too, that there were a few employees about, though she hadn't met any of them yet, and more importantly, she knew she'd need more. So, affixed to the door was a sign that read:
UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT AND HIRING!
Shifts available: Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday
Please inquire within
Jane was optimistic. But then, Jane was always optimistic.
[totes open for possible new hires, current employees, people who need clothes, etc.! I go on SP as of 5ish EST omg.]

Also, there was a cute lady he could utterly fail to be brave enough to flirt with.
So here he was, flipping through a rack of dresses and trying to decide what shade of hair dye would go best with pink taffeta.

"Yeah?" Priestly looked down at the dress again, then hung it back up. "Good call. I have a t-shirt that color, but hadn't tried a dress in it, yet. Priestly, by the way." He held out his hand. "I run Cafe Luke's."

It hadn't felt nearly that long -- she'd been keeping herself busy to keep her mind off of other things.

Pretty much no one ever came to Fandom totally prepared for all the various levels of weirdness. Even the ones from weird magical realms had to adjust somewhere along the line.

Why was she surprised? She lived with Jono, it wasn't like this stuff was totally foreign to her now.

That was where she was starting, yes.

She'd have to find the applications. Or not. She was the manager! She could just hire people on the spot if she wanted!
