A gremlin had taken over the DJ booth at the club today. The interesting thing about it was, the gremlin seemed to have more tolerable taste in music -- at least, if one liked opera, which Jack did -- than the human DJ.
Jack hummed along appreciatively with a bit of Verdi's Macbeth as he went over the club inventory records. He really needed to make sure they put in additional orders for some of the off-world liquors; they were going fast lately.
He also put in some time to researching appropriate salaries for gremlins, though the Internet was not terribly helpful on that point. He thought it unwise to ask the gremlin.
