Like elsewhere on the island, Karla came in to find a thick, sticky liquid all over the floor of Dite's today. At first, she thought a shipment of lube had leaked or something, but once she started washing the floor, she realized that it was cough syrup. Rather than asking how or why, Karla just shook her head and kept cleaning, occasionally admonishing Nemit not to land anywhere that he could get covered. She did not want to have to wash syrup off a tiny dinosaur, too.

Mini-Morton was informing her of his displeasure with the situation in a flurry of aggravated beeps and whistles.

"That's it," Karla muttered. "I'm going back to Japan."
