It was freezing out. Victor taunted himself by checking LA forecasts on his phone and wished he hadn't; the 50-degree temperature gap was enough to make him want to cry. It was the rare day when he wished he was there and not here.
But he couldn't change the weather, so he turned the shop space heater up to high and settled in to sort electrical components. He was glad Surreal was coming by as part of their ethics assignment -- company would make the day, and the extremely boring task, go faster.
