Il Pollo, Wednesday Evening
So, here was something Mike hadn't done in way too long: gone on a date with a pretty girl. He was actually wondering if this would've been reason enough to be nervous. He wasn't, though. He looked utterly relaxed (if a little cold), standing outside Il Pollo, wearing a suit and everything. Hey, he wasn't just good at taking his clothes off, you know.
Even if he kind of wished he'd put some more on right now. This was no Florida, and he hoped Laurie was going to be on time.
[ooc: Mike's here for the giiiirl, but post is open for your other Il Pollo needs! Up early 'cause timezones.]

Bless her ability to run in heels (http://www.bluefly.com/Madison-Harding-black-suede-Murray-lace-detail-knit-trim-boots/p/319766101/detail.fly), too, forever.
"Hey!" she greeted Mike when she saw him, peeling off her coat once she was sure she wouldn't, like, die of cold. "Did I keep you waiting forever? It's like, cold, so I had to change outfit plans. You look nice!"
Holy ADHD-fueled conversation, there, Laurie.

Yes, there was a significant glance at her, there. You were one of the benefits, Laurie.

There was nothing worse than Canada, obviously.

Pause.
"Okay, that's most of the reason, anyway."

He didn't seem to mind that much.

Look at him dropping that in all casual-like.

She was so afraid she'd misheard him, because seriously, this was sort of like a dream come true for her.

"You heard right the first time. Unless you heard something other than stripper."

Apparently Laurie was full of questions on this subject. It was relevant to her interests.

"Really, Laurie? You think I'd done that for over half a decade without being good at it?"

Inquiring minds needed to know.

"Maybe a couple of things." He smirked a bit at her. "Why are you so curious?"
Oh, he knew.

Hell, it was even more creative than most people gave it credit for. At least the way he and his friends did it.

Or like, a dozen.

"I'm a great dancer." And modest, too! He wasn't being smug about it, though. Just honest. "No seriously, I am."
