It was a slow day at the office. The kind of day where one's mind could wander and before you knew it you were day dreaming. The past few days, Jessica had been dealing with dreams of her creation, as well as the battle with Reed Richards in the Negative Zone. The constant with both of those dreams? Otto Octavius, a.k.a. Doctor Octopus.
The weird thing was, she hadn't felt the same hatred towards him that she always had. Knowing that he died trying (at least in part) to keep Norman Osborn away from Peter probably played a large roll in that. So as her mind wandered today, he came to mind again. And once again, it had nothing to do with the times he tried to kill her.
When she snapped out of it after a few minutes, she decided that she needed busy work to keep her mind occupied. And that's when she started sorting spare wires by size.
