Sparkle was totally hard at work now that he was back on the island after the trip to Turkey.
Completely productive today, yep.
Oh, who was anyone kidding? It was the last day of break. It was Sunday. Nobody was ever actually productive on a Sunday, were they? But he was doing a decent job of faking it, rummaging through a new shipment and setting aside things for the burn pile.
... Did Demon Marcus even bother with the burn barrel now that they were under new management?
... Did Sparkle look like the kind of guy who cared?
