The Perk, Sunday Afternoon
Sarah supposed she needed to get out of her apartment every once in a while.
By which she meant that Jenny was going through a random mother hen phase again and had been badgering her about changing out of her jammies and getting her arse out the door. It as amazing how bloody annoying a well-meaning BFF could be, even from a universe away.
So Sarah had dragged herself to the Perk, for a cup of tea and a very American sort of pastry.
Oh yeah, and she was using her powers to turn one of the coffee machines off every time the barista wasn't looking. He was confused and annoyed. She was amused.
